Going out to eat with kids comes with it's own set of challenges. From making sure there's something for your pickiest eater, to keeping the kids entertained, and of course, making sure there's something to keep mom and dad happy, it can be tough to find the right spot. As a children's ski instructor, these restaurants are my go-to recommendations to keep the whole family happy and make sure your vacation stays on track.
1. Blue Moose Pizza
This is my favorite go-to Beaver Creek spot, especially with a couple of families dining together as a large group. Pizza is always a hit with kids, and Blue Moose serves both whole pizzas and made-to-order slices so everyone can easily get what they want. There's crayons on the table for the kids to draw, and the staff is great at working with kids and very patient. To top it all off, they serve truly tasty pizza with some creative topping choices. Moms and Dads will appreciate their well-priced slice and a beer lunch deal.

2. 8100
If you're looking for someplace upscale in Beaver Creek where you can still keep the whole family happy, 8100 is the spot. This beautiful restaurant is a great place to dine al fresco in nicer weather and take advantage of the fire pit, or enjoy the well-appointed dining room. The menu for the grown-ups has some great upscale casual choices, while the kids menu offers plenty of options to satisfy the tiny humans. I love to bring picky eaters here because the kitchen separates every element on the kid's meal plates so that nothing touches each other, eliminating many young diner's complaints.

3. The Coyote Cafe
What kid doesn't love Mexican food? This casual eatery offers your favorite Tex-Mex classics as well as some American choices. The environment can be a bit boisterous with the apres-ski crowd, but the un-fussy environment and delicious and familiar food makes this a great spot for the family. Generous portions make this a great place to share!
Located next to the White Carpet Club, one escalator down from the slopes
4. Saddle Ridge
If you want a memorable adventure to on-mountain dining that's more kid-friendly than Beano's, I recommend Saddle Ridge. The ski over is easy for even smaller kids to handle, and is an exciting and different experience. Slip out of your ski boots and into some cozy slippers in this beautiful restaurant, with fun Western decor the whole family will enjoy. Saddle Ridge captures the spirit of the Old West in a memorable way. The food here is delicious and there are plenty of kid's options.
